Lines transparent when they shouldn't be
Hi all,
I've been working on a file in Illustrator - it's a network mesh, so loads of ellipses and lines.
I've got the lines in three layers and the ellipses in a separate layer.
At some point without me noticing, the lines in one of the layers have become faded.
The settings for strong and opacity are all the same.
When I move the lines into a different layer there's no difference.
If I select the whole layer, the Appearance shows Stroke 1pt and Opacity Default (100% in the Properties panel), if I select the whole of another layer, it shows the same Stoke and Opacity. However, when I select both layers, the Stroke disappears in the Appearance Panel and just says Mixed Appearances.
I did, somehow, manage to select one of the lines and see the opacity was set to 19%, and when I changed that to 100% it was fine - but I can't replicate that now so I've not got a clue how I did it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've tried everything I can think of and searched online first, to no avail.
Thanks,
Rick
