Linked images shifting positions upon opening the document

Everytime i open this and some specific files - the psotions of linked (embedded) images shift postitions and its honestky quote annoying to have to waste time aligning them back to their places. Anyone have any fix?

    Hi @Stuti38959005w7wm,

     

    I totally understand how frustrating it must be to keep realigning your images every time you open the file. This usually happens when there's a conflict with how the files are saved, or if they were created on different systems or with different versions of Illustrator.

    Can you please confirm which version of Illustrator you're using and your operating system? Also, let me know if these images were originally linked and later embedded, or if they’ve always been embedded. If possible, try saving a copy of the file as an AI or PDF and then reopen it to see if the images stay in place.

    A short screen recording showing the exact shifting behavior would also help us understand what's happening and check with the team further. Feel free to share a sample file as well for us to test and reproduce. If confidential, please share it via DM on the community.
