Live Font Preview in Illustrator CC not working

I am running Illustrator CC 2015.3.1 on windows 10 64-bit and my Live Font Preview is not working.

Either option should allow the live font preview to work, but it's good that it's working for you now.

Are you right-clicking on the font and then rolling over the font choices, the floating character pallet, or the drop-down in the dock at the top of the screen?

I was using the drop-down at the top of the screen...

Though I figured out that in that drop- down, on the left, there is a magnifying glass drop down that has 2 options.

I clicked on the option Search Entire Font Name.

Then the Live Font Preview returned.

    I am having the same issue.
    I tried this, and it worked initially, but only until I went to use the drop down to change fonts again.
    Each time I want to use change font, I have to switch options again for the preview to work again.
