Live paint bucket tool not working

I am currently trying to fill an object that I opened inside of AI but everytime I attempt to do this i recieve the message I have attatched. I am unsure where to go as I want to fill the hoodie but am unable to.

This is a pixel image, so of course you cannot use any of the tools. This would be a job for Photoshop.

    Thank you, is there anyway to convert the image so it's not a pixel image?

    You could try Image Trace (it's in the Window menu, you'll have to expand afterwards)

    But with that artwork I'd rather recommend you draw it manually.
