Logo parts dont connect

Greetings Illustrator wizards.

I'm currently digitalizing a Logo of a Client I have. And I'm starting to go insane...

I used the "Grid" Logo creation method to digitalize the client's Logo, for some unknown reason even tough the Logo Parts path match I have a space in between the parts, even if I make the path over the other part, as seen in the screenshot. WHY?

I really need the help, thanks.

You are working in an RGB document. That can have snap to pixels turned on by default therefore making it impossible to work precisely

screenshot

1st - I see a hairline space, might be a redraw

2nd - I do not see a space. If you  zzom in and see a space, I would draw a frame with the direct select tool (shown in red) use option command J to join. then repeat on other points. Below are 2 common usage examples using horizontal, and both.

What happens if you select the parts and use Pathfinder > Unite ?

Hello Frederiks,

Thanks for your help, I am working with different colors. I couldn't use Pathfinder > Unite in this case?

You did not show the colors, this one looks good to me.

You can't see it as good in the previous file, here it's clearer.
