Looking for advice on choosing a new Laptop

Hope you guys and gals can help.

I'm looking to get a new laptop, been using a MSI Apache Pro for the last 7 years, but it is time to upgrade.

I will be using my laptop for creating SVGs using Adobe Illustrator, I also create documents, stream a little of Netflix and hoping to order the Wacom Movink 13.

Previously did a lot of photo editing using Lightroom, so might go back to that at sometime.

My budget is max £2k, preferably less.  I don't want a touchscreen.

Was thinking 32gb, 1TB SSD, not sure whether an intel core ultra 7, 16 core is enough.  I'm sure it is.

It's so hard to decide, Samsung, MSI, HP, Dell.....

Can anyone give any recommendations.  Technology moves on so fast, I'm lost.

There was a similar question in a different thread but specific to Apple computers. Illustrator specialist @Monika Gause reccommends 32 GB of RAM if you want to future proof you machine. 1TB SSD is a good idea. Other than that I fear it is personal preference and how much you are willing to spend. I think any current laptop featuring these specs will be sufficient.
