Losing Fonts

It says all my fonts are activated, but when i try to use them, they dont show up in the font list.

Also, yes i have tried reactivating them multiple times, this is a daily issue.

And now, newly activated fonts dont show up either.

What fonts? How are you activating them?

Its just a list of activated fonts, i type something in illustrator, then go to Type > Fonts, and none of my activated fonts appear in the drop down list of fonts.

also if there is a way to share my list of fonts i will do so.

Do not they appear after activated? Do you keep a good internet connection?

Can you please detail the situation? Which fonts, Ai version, OS version?

Ai version is the most recent version, 2020. yes my internet is fine, connected via ethernet cable. Windows 10 version 1909, build 18363.592 I got the fonts from adobe fonts. It shows that i have them activated on the website, but when in illustrator, i type something, select the text, then go to Type > Font. None of my activated fonts show up in the drop down list of fonts.

Can we please see some screenshots. Could be so many different things from as simple as forgetting to switch from document to system.

Or you may have a font corruption issues. Since I do not know the names of fonts or anything to see how far you got installing, not worth our time writing down the 20 other guesses we have.
