Losing quality when exporting .

Hi 

I have created a logo which looks high quality in illustrator but when I export to indesign it has lost a lot of resolution and has pixelated edges. I have tried SVG, JPEG and PDF. SVG is by far the better quality.

New to both apps.Any tips please?

Why do you export and not just place the Illustrator file in InDesign for the best result?
