losing the delete point option on the pen tool

I keep losing the delete point option on the pen tool - anyone have a fix for this please?  See attached screengrab. I was working in illustrator yesterday and the options suddently disappeared and i cant get them back, my version is up to date.

Just found the anwer on another post - thank you amazing adobe community!

 

In the Window menu, select Toolbars > Advanced or click the Edit Toolbar icon (ellipsis or three dots) at the bottom of the Toolbar to add the desired tools. Peter
