Lost original artwork - have a print - can I scan and recreate a vector

Hi - I had a crash a year ago and lost some original vector art files. I do have an actual print of the artwork - It's pre-printed stock our company prints invitations on. If I scan this, is there anyway to back track to an editable vector art of the original? Many thanks in advance
