Lost PDF file after file recovery

My Adobe Illustrator crashed, but fortunately I was able to recover my work. It was a PDF file and I made sure to save it to the cloud. However, this morning I checked my cloud and the only version of the file was last edited three days ago, and all of my changes were missing. Please help, it's due today at 6pm and I'm completely lost and scared.

It might also have to do with the fact that I saved (not save as) to the cloud and didn't save under the same name.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Cloud Documents in Illustrator are saved in the AIC file format. Would you mind confirming if the file was saved as a Cloud Document or to a cloud-synced folder like Google Drive/Dropbox/etc.? If it was saved as a Cloud Document, kindly check if you have a previous version of the file with the changes intact (https://adobe.ly/3WxcVvC).
