Making Curved Fuselage Panels fo foam remote control model planes using illustrator

Question

Can  anyone help or point me to a thread where someone has done this already  Thanks in advance

Exactly you can use Illustrator to make these drawings for a print & Cut or Cutter Machine.
But every Machine has it's own format but you can export your AI document in EPS format to be able to exchane it to another applications. Many Machines provide Plug-Ins to Print from Ai. By the way, Just make your design as EPS and send it to your print house.
