Masking on multiple layers

Hello,

I'm stuck for hours on this thing. So I have a logo inside a circle and a black background. As you can see, The eyes and the nose is red inside (circle layer) but I want to have it black (background layer) without filling it. I hope you know what I mean?!

Select the red shape, and the logo shapes. Use the shape builder tool (shift + M) and alt-click on the areas you want to clear.
