Measurement tool Fractions?

Is there a way to change the units of the measurement tool to fractions rather than decimals?

Or can you edit a dimension which is already in place to type the fraction in?

I've not been successful at trying to edit the dimension or find a setting to change them to fractions.

Are you referrimg to the dimension or the measure tool?

If dimension: CLick on the cog wheel and then in the precision menu you can select fractions
