Merging two radial gradients using mesh points

Hi everyone,

I am looking to use the gradient and mesh tool to create two radial gradients at the top left and top right corner of a rectangle, similar to this:

The issue with this is that you have to reduce the opacity to create this image. This significantly reduces the quality of the colour and does no allow for gradients to merge properly (especially if a 3rd gradient needs to be added).

Could anyone assist with creating this image using mesh tool? And if possible, show how this can be done with adding a 3rd gradient in the bottom centre of the rectangle too?

Thanks,

Steven

I don't know of a clean way to merge two multi-stop gradients into one mesh object and keep a consistently spherical blend. Have you considered building your rectangle with to gradient fills and a solid background fill? Very easy to build and edit.

Hi rcraighead,

The first image is what I'd like to learn how to do. If you could give directions on how to construct that image I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks

Steven
