•  Missing fonts in/when "Package" (Mac OS)

Hello -

We recently upgraded to MacBook PRO M2 (OS Ventura & Sonoma).

Obviously, we upgraded Adobe Illustrator (currently on our machines we're in CC2023, latest update applied).

Since then, we've noticed that some fonts are missing when we do a "package" (cfr. attached .JPG).

  • Our workflow hasn't changed, and we work as usual.
  • Our font manager is "Connect Fonts". We have tested with versions V24.1.1 and V25.0.0.
  • We only work w/ local fonts (NO Adobe Fonts).
  • This is a recurring problem on several machines.

Nothing has changed - The problem of collecting fonts is still there  😞

Any idea where the problem might come from?
Is it a bug?
Is there a solution?

Thanks, have a nice day

Hello Monika -

Thank you for your reply.

In the meantime, I had to check something on a colleague's machine that had a problem.
I took the opportunity to check whether he was right about NOT activating both part of a font via Adobe and another part via Connect Fonts.
Well, yes he does (without knowing it).

So my apologies, the discussion is closed.
Enjoy your day…

So this does not only happen on Sonoma? Adobe apps are not ready for it.

Does it also happen when the font manager is not installed (or at least turned off for Illustrator)?
