Missing fonts when connected to other network, and cannot be activated

Fonts in my files flag up as missing if I connect to any other wi-fi other than my home wi-fi. Seems to be a bug, how do I fix it? Font replacement and refreshing don't work, it won't allow me to activate the same font.

Thanks for the tip. I have a VPN but it wasn’t running. I completely uninstalled it just to see if it would fix the problem, and it did. For some reason it must have interfered with Adobe just by being installed on my system.

Does your computer have different firewall settings for your home wi-fi setup as opposed to settings for other networks? Also if a VPN is running it’s possible, depending on its settings, for it to interfere with Adobe Fonts sync.

Normally if the VPN is turned off it shouldn’t affect network traffic. I wonder if there are any updates for the VPN.

    Hi Iamtushan,

Thank you for reaching out. This is definitely strange. Would you mind telling us if that happens with all Adobe apps or just Illustrator files? Please share the details of your operating system and the version of Illustrator installed on your machine.

Would you mind trying to add the fonts as suggested in this article when you’re on another network, and let us know if that helps?

We will try our best to help you.

    Thanks,

    Harshika
