Modifier Keys (OPT SHIFT CMD) not working with some Tools
My Keyboard modifiers seem to work, however as soon as I use mapped modifier keys with mouse, they did work and now they don't work as expected.
I use Illustrator 2024 (28.6) on MacOS Sonoma (14.6.1) with use a MX Master 3 and program forward and Backward buttons to Modifier keys (ie OPT SHIFT CMD) as shortcut keys.
I am specifically trying to figure out if this is a problem with Illustrator or LogiOptions+. I'm not sure exactly when they stopped if it was Adobe or Logitech software updates.
- I normally use the 'OPTION' to create a shape (ie rectangle [M]) from the centre out or to change scroll wheel to zoom by holding option, or 'SHIFT' to create 1:1 ratio shapes. *I also used to resize using [V]
- I know I can use the keyboard and this works but I prefer to use mouse. It was working and for some reason this has stopped working for me.
- It sort of works in InDesign with some weird things happening/not happening all the time and Acrobat seems to work fine with what edit tools I can test.
- I have also tried changing to the LogiOptions+ Advanced Click rather than the Shortcut Keys.
- I have tried older version of Illustrator, I have tried Beta and reset preferences, shortcuts...everything.
- I have checked all OS shortcuts.
- I have logged support with Logitech.
- I am putting together testing notes as it is different across the Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat and Keyboard/Mouse. This is available if you want to look at. I can attach or link to PDF.
Any help or tester would be appreciated!
