Monitor for new Mac M1

Hi All

I may be forced to upgrade my trusty 5k iMac. Looks like the M1 + a monitor.
Since this is now a massively expensive option with an Apple monitor, I'm looking at a non Apple monitor,
What's everyone using here?

Thanks

G

Hi Alexander,

Thank you for reaching out. I am not able to recommend specific monitor models or brands. However, I can offer some general advice when selecting a monitor for use with your Mac M1.

First, you will want to ensure the monitor has the appropriate connections for your M1, which may include USB-C, Thunderbolt 3, or HDMI, depending on your specific model. It is also important to consider the resolution and color accuracy of the monitor, especially if you will be using it for design work.

You may want to consider looking for monitors that are specifically designed for use with creative applications, such as those that are Adobe RGB or P3 color space compatible. Some popular monitor brands in this category include BenQ, Dell, ASUS, etc.

Ultimately, the best monitor for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences, so be sure to do your research and read reviews from other users before making a purchase.

I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Anshul

thank you so much for the info. This is EXACTLY the sort of info I need, and now know which specific questions to ask. I've not heard of P3 before, but I'm now armed with more knowledge.
thanks
