mouse pointer disappears while i am on the canvas zone adobe illustrator

I don't understand why this could happen. I didn't do anything before. the night before I could still run this program fine, and when I opened it the next day this problem appeared. I have reinstalled this program but it still has no effect

This is an issue with Windows Insider Preview build 26080:

You should use a general release version of Windows to avoid this issue until it is fixed.

If yes, kindly try the suggestions shared here (adobe.ly/49YdWSP) to perform a clean installation of Windows, as suggested by Doug, to see if it helps.
