Mouse selection and drag not working in Illustrator 30.3 on Windows 11

I am using adobe illustrator 30.3 (latest version) on Windows 11, version 25H2. My issue is with selection and drag with mouse. As soon as I Lauch the application and try with selection and move it works but after one or two operations it stops working and object selection and drag does not work. some keys like space bar also stops working. I did all trouble shooting as suggested by help and support, but the issue remains same. I reinstalled the illustrator after uninstalling but that also did not work, I tried with fresh document and with a simple text but the same thing happens for text also. I am not able to select and move the text with mouse. kindly guide me.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying to run Illustrator after rebooting your computer in Safe Mode (Windows) and disabling any plugins (if enabled) and checking if it helps?

I did as suggest by you in safe mode mouse select and darg was working perfectly.did not work for long in safe mode say for 5 minutes Then I rebooted the system in normal mode. launched adobe illustrator and initially for 15 minutes it worked well and after that that mouse drag function stopped working again. What could be reason?

I don't have any plugins installed. I checked in extension-library nothing it shows

Thanks for confirming. It seems there may be a driver/application conflict. Would you mind reinstalling the driver/companion app for your mouse (if any) to see if that helps resolve the problem? Also, try closing all other apps while using Illustrator and share your observations.
