Question

Multiple artboards, same color, prints color different

I am working on a project that requires me to make more than one artboard. I use the same color swatch on both artboards but they are printing  different shades from each other and not identical colors. Why is this happening?

Did you ever figure out the reason for this? I'm having the same issue. I create a new artboard and literally copy the items into that new artboard but the shades differ. I didn't change any colors between them..

How's your color management set up?

What kind of items are we talking about?

So you have created objects on both artboards that have the same color applied?

And you are printing them in one run?

Anything else on these artboards?

What kind of printer is it?

They were not printed simultaniosly as 1 print because I would end up wasting paper as 1 artboard is larger than the other. I instead print one, then re-adjust the "page set up" option in the print menu of the second artboard to make it a smaller media size and print again. I'm sure there is an easier way to do this but I'm pretty new to this and try to do what seemed to be working..until now.

There isn't anything else on the artboard but lets just say one artboard has the chest part of the sfirt and the other artboard has the sleeves.

The type of printer is an Epson F570.

Is there any color correction turned on in the printer driver?
