When crashing Illustrator might have destroyed its preferences.

So what you might want to try is first:

reboot the computer, then launch Illustrator.

If it still doesn't work:

reset the Illustrator preferences.

On top of that: you have grouped the objects. And this looks like a jigsaw puzzle in outline view. Before you send this off for print, I would use the Pathfinder Unite on it. And afterwards: release the group and make a compound path instead.

 So the computer crashed.

And then you opened a file that has been recovered?

And then it looks like outline view? Is it in Outline view? The video is very blurry.

WHat is this supposed to look like?

What is this in the Layers panel?

Can you share the file?

Rename it to .pdf and then you can upload it to the forum.

So firstly, only Adobe crashed but the file was recovered and then i opened it.

Outline view is not enabled, in the video when i change it to black it does show as i intend but i need it to be in white

which appears transparent.

I've attached a screenshot of the layers panel and ive sent a pdf of the file but as a black version so you can see it, it does seem to be showing as expected but the main question is why is white not showing in illustrator itself.
