My Direct Selection tool don't work perfect after new update??

I can't work with this tool after I have draw something. This tool don't work!

Please help me!!

Sorry, there was a spelling mistake. I've been drawing in Illustrator for 30 years with no problems. But now I can't use the "Direct Selection tool”

If this no longer tool does not works any more, - Then I have to find another better program. Because this doesn't work now?
