My Illustrator will not open at all. Help?

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application with no luck. It is late so I can not contact support via phone, so checking if forums are of any help. I have not seen a question similar to mine on forums, so I am starting one here. I use a mac and run creative cloud so everything is updated to my knowledge. When I click to open the "loading" pop up before launch shows, but nothing opens up after that.
