My spacebar isn't working for quick hand tool in Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop?!

Hello, so for a long (frustrating) while now, my spacebar has stopped working for the quick hand tool shortcut in all three of the Adobe applications I use the most — Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign. I even updated them hoping that would fix it, but nope! 

Illustrator version 24.3

InDesign version 15.1.3

Photoshop version 21.2.10

I'm on a Mac btw, (version 10.13.6, running on High Sierra)

And this is even when I have no other applications open that could be interfering with the spacebar shortcut, like some of you have mentioned, but that was not my problem. If anyone has any ideas that could get this working for me again, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
