My straight lines has a grungy texture

Hello!

My lines has some grungy texture to it. I wan't a straight line and I can't find where to correct this.

Looking through which brushes I've got in the library, I don't seem to have any normal brushes.

I have uninstalled Illustrator and installed it again, but the problem is still there.

Any suggestions?

Does it look correct if you switch to View > Preview on CPU?

It may be a preview problem, does it go away when you (temporarely) switch Preview? Cmd E or Ctrl E

Good to hear that helped. GPU preview is fast, but not always accurate. CPU preview shows how it will be printed and exported, but it is slower. You may want to use the shortcut to temporarely switch the view.
