what's the file type and is illustrator installed?

Yes, of course Illustrator is installed, and the files belong to Illustrator itself. It works, but I need to open it separately from the cloud, or download the file to the PC. It does not open directly in the cloud, like psd files, it gives the error shown in the image.

What kind of file is it? An AI file?

An AIC file?

How are you opening it? Double clicking? Is Illustrator associated with that file type in the system?
