Native fonts in Illustrator

Hi,

I installed few native language fonts from Adobe fonts and I do see them in illustrator but they are visible in english when applied. Even in preview they are visible in English. How do I get the native fonts like Hindi, telugu etc. In Adobe fonts they are shown in native language font.

I restarted the application multiple times, enabled indic fonts in preferences.

Any help is appreciated!
