Need Help - Compound Path

Hi

I have a pattern like the attached picture (compund_path_before.png), it is a shape filled with pattern, then I flatterned.

 

- You can see it is a group object with many paths in layer panel

- I use compund path to combine all objects into ONE, but failed as attached picture (compund_path_after.png)

 

I need to combine it into ONE single object for save as SVG file, how can I do it ?

 

Any mistake I made with compond path ?

That's never going to work nor is it necessary. An SVG will happily just pack all your objects into a group and treat them like a single object that way, i.e. just grouping them in AI should export the same way in the SVG.
