Neither app will open a file. App loads then nothing works. Why do I have to keep uninstalling?!

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying the following steps and checking if they help:

 

- Close all Adobe applications.

- Rename the UXP folder to UXP.old from the following location:

(Windows) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UXP

(macOS) Navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP

 

- Relaunch Illustrator / InDesign

Thanks, I will try this. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still isn't working.

I was able to work around it by opening it from adobe.com/files but it seems the cloud saved documents dialog under the File Menu won't open at all. I was able to open files in my "Open Recent" but nothing saved to the CC library.
