New user - Illustrator question - Window tab

Hello: I was following a class tutorial in setting up my artboard. The screen froze and I am unable to move away from the Windows tab. How do I close out or reset? I checked open files and closed windows.

Do you know how to take a screenshot on your system and can you then please do it and upload that screenshot?

Hello Monika: Thanks for your response. Uploading the screenshot, as requested. Everything is a huge learning curve - but I am determined to become proficient in the Adobe CC Suite!!

So this menu is stuck to your mouse?

A couple of people have reported issues with the main menu in Illustrator.

There are currently a lot of issues with Amc OS Sonoma that we in the forums do not have explanations for. What helped some people was to disable "Displays have separate spaces" in the system setup. Also when you have the apps Rectangle, Magnet or Proofpoint installed, they do not play well with Illustrator.

And then there are a lot of issues with Wacom tablets (don't know if you have one).

Whih version of Sonoma do you have installed?
