Newbie---Polygon not symmetric

I made a hexgon with 25mm sides and as you can see in the photos, it is not symmetrical.  Any ways of fixing this issue?

Press and hold Shift when you create the shape with the Polygon Tool (below the Rectangle Tool).  You can then set the width and height in the Control panel (Window's upper right).
