No ellipse tool on illustrator trial

Hi All,

I've recently downloaded the trial version of illustrator from the adobe downloads page. On using the program I cannot locate the ellipse tool. Am I not looking properley or is this feature not included in the trial version?

I have a trial version as well and right clicked on the rectangle tool to pull up the other options. My other options were Rectangle Tool, Rounded Rectangle Tool, Elipse Tool, Polygon Tool, Star Tool and Flare Tool.

It should be bundled with the Rectangle Tool, ClickHold a little while to get it to appear (as third, after the Rounded Rectangle). Or just press the L key.

or is this feature not included in the trial version?

Only if you have downloaded the angular only version.

I have the same exact problem as the op, with the downloading the free trial and have missing tools, and i have a few questions about your reply:

What is the "angular only" version, is that the trial version? and would you have to pay for the full program to get these missing tools, or is there another free trial version somewhere that i didnt see that does have these tools??

There is no "angular only" version.

If you don't have the ellipse tool then something went wrong on install.

Are you sure you can't access the tool? You need to press the left mouse button on the rectangle tool and then hold for a moment.
