Not able to edit graph data

Hi Experts.

Using AI CC

When I select a graph then Object->Graph ->Edit Data I get a blank data field - see below

Any ideas?

What does the Layers panel say about that selected graph? Is it still live?

You need to click on the little arrow to the left of the respective layer to open it.
