"Not enough RAM" Error Message

So while i was using the 3D tool in Illustrator, and it said "not enough RAM to do this". I updated evreything (illustrator and my MAC book to the latest version so everything is up-to-date). What is the problem here and how do is solve this?

While to system requirements for AI is 8GB, 16 GB of RAM is suggested. Perhaps you are not allocating enough RAM to AI?

You can't allocate RAM on Mac OS

Hi Monica,

Did you manage to fix this? Same hapenned to me in Windows even though I have plenty of harddrive and 16GB Ram.

Maybe it's really just not enough RAM. How much RAM is installed?

My macbook has 245,11 GB, so i don't think that the problem 🤷‍♀️

That is your harddrive and not the RAM.
