I had to reset my computer to a backup version for my windows software and now my normal home screen is empty. Not sure what i need to do or if there is a setting that i am overlooking. All I get are the top menus, no history, and even properties section wont show anything. Hopefully someone can help me out. I am a new user and trying to learn everything between my normal job and sleeping.

Hello @Mario37986560xux2,

I am sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying the following steps and checking if they help:

- Close all Adobe applications.

- Rename the UXP folder to UXP.old from the following location:

(Windows) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UXP

(macOS) Navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP

- Relaunch Illustrator

If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, system config (CPU/GPU/Memory), and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/4fC7wvp), so we can investigate this further.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Have you tried resetting Illustrator's preferences file? If that doesn't work you may need to use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to perform a clean uninstall and re-install of Illustrator.

Just tried that.. no change. I guess the next shot is the creative cloud cleaner tool.
