How can I know how many objects I have selected in Illustrator? Sometimes I work with hundreds of files and I would like to know if Illustrator can tell me how many I have selected. Thanks for the help.

I got the same issue. In pre-versions there was always the doc info menu incl. the amount of selected objected displayed. This features seems to be gone. Waiting for support as well:

x-x-x-x,

I apologize for the curtness of my answer above; I have edited it to include the full instruction.

The helpx page instruction about the matter is curt in another way,

Hanschrs,

If you look at the Document Info with Selections Only and Objects ticked, you can see the number of each kind of selected objects.

So with different kinds of objects you will need to do the adding up.

Edit: Apologizing for any inconvenience owing to curtness, the full instruction is:

If you look at the Document Info in the Windows dropdown with Selections Only and Objects ticked, you can see the number of each kind of selected objects.

So with different kinds of objects you will need to do the adding up.
