Office fonts not appearing in Illustrator or InDesign

Hi,

I am editing some posters done by a colleague. She has used an Office font - Cambria, which I have in Powerpoint, etc, but it doesn't sow up at all in Illustrator. Why is this?

It might be just installed in Office. It needs to be installed in the system "For all users"

Check if it is installed generally in the system. And then check if it is installed for all users.

How do I do that?

Also, it also happened with Calibri Light. I needed to install it even though it was present in all Office programmes.

Cambria font is showing up fine for me in both Illustrator and Photoshop, I don't have InDesign installed though

Well it is for me now as I have installed Cambria separately. Still doesn't explain why it wasn't showing when I already had it in all my Windows applications. Seems to be a common problem as well...
