Opacity Mask don't work with embeded images

I use a lot the opacity mask with the black and white gradient, but recently my team and I have been unable to use it if the images are embedded. We need to make extra steps to unembedded and then embedded again to work.

I've checked with our product team, and I can confirm that a bug report has already been filed for the issue you're experiencing with opacity masks not working properly when images are embedded. The product team is actively working on addressing this issue, and you can expect improvements in an upcoming release.
