Opacity not show when i am place .pdf file

I test make a new document with object solid color (CMYK) and then make opacity 25%,i save .pdf file, and now I am make new file document (CMYK) and place this file(.pdf) why opacity not show? Please help me

Your pdf file works fine for me

I placed on top of a 100 yellow rectangle, does the same not happen for you? If you placed of top blue, you would not see a result.

on my Ai 2023 not work,if i am check list overprint preview it's work,,but if maake Ai 2021 no problem

Does it work when you go to View > Preview on CPU?

Does copy/paste instead of place give the same result?

It can if copy & paste,but file from client

if I open it missing fonts & some effect change,

the only way i must place it

If I place your file linked, the transparency is there.

Could it be something with the file you are placing it in? Can you place it in another file?

Exactly how do you save the PDF?

Can you try Overprint preview?
