Opacity shortcut stopped working

Hello,
I have used the preinstalled Opacity shortcuts forever, and now they stopped working properly.

The only shortcuts that work are 5, 6 and 7.

The others do nothing

Weird!

Can anybody help? I use this all the time!
MacStudio, M2 ultra, Ventura 13.5 illustrator version 27.9

Can you show the Keyboard Shortcuts editor panel where these keys are assigned?

Sure! Here they are (and have been like that for 10 years or so)

I see, you customized the set.

These are not the defaults, can you reload your set?

Now it became even worse. I found out that the opacity shortcuts 1,2, 3 and 4 are assigned to "align left, right etc.". Although in the shortcut panel it shows than as assigned to opacity. That means if I by habit select several objects and hit "2", they jump to the right instead of becoming transparent.

The problem may be related to the fact that you are on a computer with the new M2 chip. I've seen reports that Creative Cloud programs are not yet fully compatible with the M2.

Ah, thank you, Bill. Then I can be thankful that it is such a relatively minor (but irritating) issue.
