Open Cloud PDF file in illustrator

I have saved illustrator design as editable PDF file and uploaded to the cloud. But in the cloud, I can only open PDF in Acrobat. In illustrator, it doesn't even show up.

Really want to work in PDF format thru cloud.

Is there a way out?

As far as I can see, there is no way to have a cloud stored PDF open in anything else than Acrobat.

You could do this with synched files, but that option is/will be gone...
