Question

Opening script file chooser doesn't remember last path

It happens that I have to select a script file multiple times. In Illustrator I select File->Scripts->Other Script and I select my script.

If I try again the same procedure I notice that the file chooser window doesn't remember the previous path and I'm forced to go through folders and select again the script. This is very time consuming but I think I'm doing something wrong because I cannot believe that Adobe could design such a poor user interface.

to work around it, either create a shortcut to the folder where the script is saved or install the script. If you install it, you can record an action to run it, so it can be launched quickly. Or even better, you could assign a shortcut key to the action to launch your script ever quicker.

you're not doing anything wrong, not remembering the last folder is a know problem. It started with CC2014 if I remember correctly.
