organic grasses in Illustrator?

Creating a band of various grasses and flax. I'm doing it one by one, but I imagine there's a number of quicker ways. Any suggestions? Thanks

A couple of things you can do.

1. Make a symbol. Then use the symbol sprayer tool to spray them.

2. Make a scatter brush. Then draw a path.

3. Use the transform effect to make multiple. Then Object > Expand appearance,then ungroup, then Object > Transform > Transform each

select them all, use the alignemnt panel, distribute spacing in between
