Overlapping objects and showing item underneath with dashed line

I'm a beginner and this may be a basic question, but I'm trying to overlap 2 objects and show the placement order for the object in the back by a dashed line.  In the diagram show, how do I keep all the lines solid except for the yellow highlighted part, I want this to be dashed, showing that the circle is placed behind the rectangle?
