Packaging files for output, does not collect images

I am trying to collect for output, but it is not gathering the photos used in the file to the folder. I made sure the images are not embedded, and I have all the checkboxes selected to gather the links. The fonts are being collected fine and it is making a package report doc. Happy to send screenshots of the steps I'm taking, if that better explains the isssues I am having. Thank for any help you can provide.

Thank you for your responces, they helped me to figured out my problem. When I placed the images originally, I did not have the "Link" box checked, so in fact they were getting embedded without me knowing, as I always have that checked. Actually not sure how that got unchecked, but anyway everthing is working great again. 🙂

I just had the same issue. I figured out that the box unchecked itself when I placed an SVG file. So the SVG wasn't linked, and the box stayed unchecked for all files placed after that, no matter what file type.

Yes please post screenshots. Show us the results gathered and your links palette.

Might be as simple as they are collected in a folder. Without knowing more is not worth an extrmeely lenghty reply with all the possibilities it could be.
