Page-selection when opening PDF in Illustrator

To Whom It May Concern: 

Please fix the UI for page-selection when opening a PDF in Illustrator; browsing through the thumbnails at the top of the dialog should automatically select that page to open below.  It is bad UX to scroll through the pages to find the one that you want and then have to manually enter it below---I can't think of a single reason to have these UI elements disconnected (as they presently are).
