Hi, I am having a problem on adobe illustrator, I would like to paint with an artistic brush, and i would like to paint with the brush at a lower opacity. however currently i can only change the opacity after i make the stroke. using the properties panel to change the opacity does not do anything, I will slide the opacity slider down and try to draw with the brush, and it will be 100% opacity no matter what and resets the slide to 100%

Thanks for reaching out. Currently, Illustrator on the iPad does not have this functionality. Would you mind creating a UserVoice for this feature request (https://adobe.ly/3XAAK7D) and adding your comments there? Doing this will help us prioritize this request, and you will be notified of any updates.

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.
