Path drawn with brush jumps to a new position

When I draw a path with a calligraphy-brush (Wacom Cintiq Pro), sometimes the path jumps to a new position at the moment when I finish drawing. I have tried changing the brush settings. This will only help when I apply the new settings to existing paths. But the new ones will still have the same symptom. The brush size is set to "pressure", the angle and roundness are "fixed". Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

Thanks for reaching out. I tried replicating this behavior on my end, but could not. Could you share more details, like the version of the OS/Illustrator installed, the Wacom driver version, if this happens only with calligraphy brushes, and a small screen recording of your exact workflow and the problem, so we can better assist you?

Also, try disabling Windows Ink under the tablet settings and performing a clean reinstallation of the Wacom drivers (https://adobe.ly/41yJ9Km) and share your observations.
